Here, we’ll take you step by step through the setup of your new Procuffs, and how best to use them.

1. APPLY WRISTBANDS

  • First, apply the sweatband to the wrist, followed by the wristband. Make sure the wristband is secure.

2. APPLY CORD

  • Snap the ends of the cords into the hooks on the wrists.

3. CHOOSING YOUR CORD

  • Each bag comes with 4 different length cords, all 1 inch apart.

  • From shortest to longest: Yellow, Red, Blue, and Green.

  • There is no specific cord for any swing; every arm length is different.

  • Experiment with some different lengths until you find the cord that feels the most comfortable and the best for you. You will feel if the cord feels too short or too long.

HOW TO TRAIN WITH THE PROCUFFS

The Procuffs are a very simple and easy tool to use. All you need to do is follow these 3 steps:

  1. PULL TENSION FOR THE UNIT TURN

    • Make sure the non-dominant arm is pulled straight across the body, turning the shoulders before the shot.

  2. MAINTAIN TENSION THROUGH SWING

    • Maintain the tension through the entire swing to keep the shoulders in unison.

  3. END WITH HANDS TOGETHER

    • End the swing by bringing the hands together. Not only will this ensure the correct shoulder movement, but it will create a more consistent endpoint to the forehand swing.

Like the Prostrap, the ball should be consistently in your strike zone. However, you CAN rally while wearing it with much less difficulty than the Prostrap.
